Also, the toothbrush motor slows if too much pressure is applied to prevent gum irritation. It’s rechargeable and can last for an impressive 21 days after a full charge. The brush head is perfectly sized and features a tongue cleaner on the opposing side.

The PBT charcoal-infused bristles are incredibly soft and are feathered to sneak below the gum tissue. We can’t say enough about the product quality and cleaning effectiveness.

Lastly, the replacement brush head subscription service is available, so you never have to remember when to replace it as it’s mailed directly to you.

The brush head is perfectly sized and pauses every 30 seconds to transition between quadrants.

Also, it’s rechargeable, and you can replace the brush head with any Oral-B brush head.

The bristles are slightly stiff but can flex around most aspects of the teeth. It features two brushing modes; however, we preferred the sensitive mode to limit gum irritation.

Overall we were pleased with this toothbrush but would have desired softer bristles to limit gum irritation and tooth sensitivity.

The unique brush head design features a rotating power brush head and stationary bristle portion. Unfortunately, the toothbrush is extremely loud, and the bristles are stiff and unable to reach around all aspects of the teeth.

The interchangeable stickers are kid-friendly, and the toothbrush is comfortable to handle.

Also, the two brushing modes are effective and provide exceptional plaque removal. The bristles are soft and gentle on the gum tissue and are of various lengths to reach around all aspects of the teeth.

Unfortunately, we would have hoped for a smaller brush head as children’s mouths and teeth are much smaller. Nevertheless, it’s a great toothbrush overall, and the replaceable brush heads are easy to exchange every three months.

GUM Kids Battery-Powered Toothbrush is lightweight, and the large handle is comfortable to grip. Also, the suction cup on the bottom is a clever feature to secure the toothbrush to the bathroom counter.

The brush head is perfectly sized for children’s mouths, and the motor slows if too much force is applied.

Unfortunately, the oscillating bristles lack adequate movement and are quite stiff.

Also, the bristles have minimal flex to wrap around all teeth surfaces adequately. Lastly, the brush head is attached to the body – you will need a new toothbrush every three months.

Final Thoughts

After the dust settled, BURST Kids Sonic Toothbrush was the clear winner.

It checks all the boxes, including a perfectly sized brush head, PBT feathered, charcoal-infused bristles, ergonomic handle, subscription brush heads, two brushing modes, and robust motor.

It’s the most expensive toothbrush compared to the others; however, we believe this investment for your child is worth every penny.

Philips Sonicare Kids Power Toothbrush and Oral-B Kids Rechargeable Toothbrush rounded out the top three. Both are very similar except for the brush head design.

The Sonicare kid’s toothbrush features soft bristles; however, the brush head is oversized for children. On the other hand, the Oral-B kid’s toothbrush is perfectly sized; however, the bristles are stiff and lack adequate flex to clean all aspects of the teeth.
